A large airy room with full height ceilings and simple New England style furnishings. A king sized comfortable bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers and large wardrobe. The en-suite contains a modern shower. A clock radio/CD player is also in this room.

Simply furnished in New England style with a double bed, bedside tables, and a wardrobe. Bathroom with shower en-suite.

Bedroom Three

Light and airy room facing the front of the cottage, this twin bedded room contains a wardrobe, bedside table and an en-suite bathroom with a large bath.

Main Living space

Open plan area with huge glass doors opening onto decked area. The views over open farmland are fantastic and, in the summer, the sunset can be enjoyed from this space. Huge, comfortable sofa, coffee table and TV/DVD are all in this area which can be warmed with the wood burning stove.

The kitchen area is part of the open plan space. The well equipped kitchen contains an oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher with plenty of work surface.

The Dining table is off the kitchen area. This easily seats six people on simple benches.

Hall and Utility Room

The entrance hall contains a small bench and access to the front terrace through large glass doors. This sheltered, south facing terrace contains seating for six people and a BBQ and access to the lawned area.

Utility Room

Off the entrance hall is a Utility Room equipped with sink, cleaning products, hoover, ironing board, washing machine and recycling bins.

Terraces can be found on all sides of the cottage. Start the day with breakfast on the kitchen terrace. Here a simple table and bench makes the most of the morning sun. The deck at the back of the house is a good place to enjoy the view and perhaps a gin and tonic at the end of the day; a small table and chairs is on this space. The patio at the front is sheltered and equipped with a table and chairs for some alfresco dining. Access to this area is through french doors from the entrance hall. Beyond this terrace is the sunny garden.

A small shed contains more seating and a BBQ.

Cows and sheep regularly graze the fields behind the property and it’s often possible to watch owls hunting across these fields at dusk. There is a drop from the back of the property into the field and care needs to be taken with children in this area.
